Manyatta Mengi Mashariki Films and USW Students Film Screening

In partnership with USW, we are proud to present a special film screening programme showcasing Films from Manyatta Mengi Mashariki, a short films spotlight celebrating exciting new voices from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Réunion Island. This programme highlights emerging filmmakers whose stories reflect the richness, diversity, and creative energy of the East African and Indian Ocean regions.

Alongside these films, we will also screen selected works by USW students, offering them a valuable opportunity to present their films to a diverse audience beyond the classroom. By sharing the same platform, students and international filmmakers are brought into conversation through cinema.

This partnership serves as a creative bridge encouraging the exchange of ideas, expanding access to audiences, and bringing cinema directly into educational institutions while creating meaningful opportunities for learning, visibility, and collaboration.
