Safari Tatu Production

Safari Tatu means ‘Three Journeys’ in Swahili. 


This project is a collaborative film production between Watch Africa Cymru; (Wales)  ZIFF/Jicho Productions (Zanzibar) and Tuwatch Sinema (Kenya) an . Our aim is to work with young people to produce film exploring what ‘coming of age’ can mean in these three countries. How do young people in different places undertake their journeys into adulthood?

Film education can encourage young people to channel their energy into productive ventures and learn new skills. This project will offer creative learning and training opportunities for young people, forge links between the 3 countries and developing future filmmakers and global citizens.
